In May, 2016, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) announced that Daniel Tromello of Thousand Oaks, CA, formerly with Transamerica Financial Advisors of Westlake Village, CA was barred from association with any FINRA member in any capacity as a result of his participation in a private securities transaction.  During their investigation into Tromello’s outside business activities FINRA requested an on the record interview to determine Tromello’s role.  Tromello notified FINRA that he would not participate in the interview or cooperate with FINRA’s investigation.  As a result, he was barred from the industry.

Registration and disciplinary history

In order to lawfully sell investments to the public,  a registered rep must either be registered or exempt from registration.  Daniel Tromello was registered with Transamerica Financial Advisors from February, 2014 through October, 2015.

According to FINRA’s CRD disclosure report, Daniel Tromello has been the subject of one regulatory investigation.
